Personal Thoughts – I

In the Harry Potter movie, when Harry decides to greet death with the open arm, he stands on the edge of the forbidden forest and throws resurrection and all parental figures to Harry appear even Remus because he died in the first half of the battle of Hogwarts. Harry asked Remus, ” Remus, Your son” and to that, he replied, “Others will tell him what his mother and father died for, One day he will understand.” I know that fight was a big moment for the wizarding world and their contribution was even bigger.

All this made me think, what if I (people) had an average career (no titles like youngest/best/brilliant CEO, Millionaire, Politician or Entrepreneur, etc.) or average life( 9 to 5 job, family, vacation once), no such big achievements to boast off.

Will our life feel worthless when we think back in our retirement time?

Actually no, this is just a side effect of social media. We all know what social media does to our brain but still, most of us give in and others also give in but they are aware of side effects and have a positive mindset to not let it affect too much. (Best Documentary on social media side effects is on Netflix named Social Dilemma, must watch for everyone.) I am not writing about social media anymore because this isn’t what I want to say.

Imagine you had an average life and career too, but you were yourself the whole time. Whenever someone meets your kids, all they talk about is how great you were as a person. Your kids come home and narrate the incidents to you. isn’t that a great moment? It’s like the payoff for your hard work. You might not get featured in any magazines, newspapers, or any media but you won hearts. That’s why people still remember you and sing your praises. Ask me, better payoff than some title and publicity.

Do people often ask what our purpose of life is? I think it is to be a better human and live and let live. No Judgements, No bitching just be helpful, supportive, and kind to any living being.

Intelligence and luck are not in our hands, what is – to be a good person. Everything will be fine eventually, no matter how accomplished you were or how big a failure you were(in your mind). In the end, you will find many good things you did or happened to you.
